Salam, Hope you are all well,
I wanted to share something that helped me memorize the words. I made a quizlet flashcard set online with all the words from "Arkview Arabic 101_Starter Vocabulary List with Transliteration" pdf.

Wa alaykum Assalaam wa Rahmatullah!
That's awesome! May Allah reward you in abundance! Is it OK if we share the link on the Newcomers (101) Whatsapp group?
Abdullah Quraishi
Ameen, Please do share
Ilham abdulrahman
Salaam Shaykh,
I just joined and was wondering where I can find the assigned homework pages? However, I was able to download both vocabulary lists and the curriculum outline.
Also I am assuming there isn't a whatsapp group for the Arabic 101 course, so what would be the best way to ask questions after following along the course online?
Thank you.
Mahdi Lock
Wa alaykum Assalaam wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh,
Welcome!
The assigned homework (as well as as the in-class activities) are from the Attakallum series. Arabic 101 is using the Starter A1 book, which is available here: https://burujbooks.com/attakallum-online/?srsltid=AfmBOor_B-FYFyL15eOXqgproUfHje1ho7_QQqpUXYi_ArPMj12JzEps
The discount code for Arkview Arabic students is ATTAKALLUM15, for 15% off.
As for regular questions, feel free to use the Open Q&A (AMAAA) group or the 104 group. You are also welcome to post comments here or to email me. You can also ask questions in our weekly live Q&A session, which is usually on Saturdays.
I hope that helps!
Wassalaam,
Mahdi

Wa alaykum Assalaam wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh,
First, please forgive me for the delay in getting back to you!
Second, I have told the admin to get on the case. Insha'Allah, you'll be added to the groups soon. In the meantime, you should be able to join the AMAAA group.
May Allah bless you and make things easy for you.
Wassalaam,
Mahdi

Im here for the first time and am having abit of trouble navigating all the courses available. Is this the starting point to learn arabic?
Is there a order of courses to take?
Mahdi Lock
Wa alaykum Assalaam wa Rahmatullah,
Welcome!
Yes, 101 is the starting point.
You should have also received a link via email to do the placement test.
I'll send you the course catalogue via WhatsApp. One minute please.
Wassalaam,
Mahdi
Yassir Khadir
Assalamoaleikom, are we supposed to get the online subscription for this book or are the lessons and handouts sufficient to follow along?
Mahdi Lock
Wa alaykum Assalaam wa Rahmatullah,
Welcome!
It's up to you; if you find that the lessons and handouts are sufficient, that's great! However, if you would prefer to get the book, the website is https://burujbooks.com/product/attakallum-online-subscription-starter-a1/ and the discount code for Arkview Arabic students is ATTAKALLUM15, for 15% off.
May Allah grant you success!
Yassir Khadir
Allahuma ameen! Is it correct that the at takallum homework excercises are supplementary and serve the content that is already on the handouts? If that's the case i can live with more dry memorisation with an application such as quizlet and keeping seperate notes for the grammar
Mahdi Lock
The Attakallum homework exercises are supplementary in that they are in a separate book, i.e. the Workbook, and that's what we cover in the review sessions. What we cover in class is the Student Book. The handouts are for extra clarification, mainly of grammar points.
I hope that's clear!
